Kerry "Bubba" Underwood is a member of the Alabama House of Representatives, serving District 3 since November 2022. His district encompasses parts of Colbert, Lauderdale, and Lawrence counties in northwest Alabama.
Born in Sheffield, Alabama, Underwood has deep roots in the region. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Alabama in 1990.
Underwood became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1998. He founded Underwood & Associates in 2004 and later co-founded NortonUnderwood PC in 2021, both based in Tuscumbia.
Underwood served as Mayor of Tuscumbia from 2016 to 2022. In 2022, Underwood was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives.
